Kunjutsu is what I like to call it.
Bo- (Kun in Ryūkyū) spinning is art, not necessarily martial art. It's sports, but also meditative.
I "invented" this by myself through trial and error. What you see is not intentionally related to any existing practice, but it seeks inspiration from various different martial arts.
I love what I do and i'm happy to find followers, who like my content and appreciate learning it.

Hey Lukas, Happy to hear from you, how you doing? :D Technically I meet all pre-conditions of contact staff spinning, but I lack time. Still looking for a way to transition from regular staff spinning into contact staff, it feels like 2 very different worlds. Perhaps you have an idea? My current contact staff is quite heavy - perhaps I need a lighter one.

Hey, welche Länge hat denn dein Stab? Oder welche Länge würdest du empfehlen wenn man mit dem spinning beginnen möchte?
Heyho, Ein regulärer Bo (so wie dieser) ist 182 cm lang. Für eine ausgewachsene Person ist das eine gute Startlänge. Grundsätzlich würde ich empfehlen einen Stab zu wählen, der der eigenen Körpergröße entspricht. Wenn man nichts passendes findet, tuts auch ein "Jo Stab", oder etwas anderes, was die eigene Körpergröße unterschreitet. Alles was größer ist als man selbst, ist super tricky im Handling. Hoffe das hilft :)
@@Kun_Jutsu also ich bin 177cm groß, heißt also dass ein Stab von ebenfalls 177cm ideal wäre, habe ich das so richtig verstanden?
@@reenfighter Ich denke mit 177 cm kannst du auch komfortabel einen normalen Bo Stab (182cm) nutzen ;) Schau einfach mal auf Amazon und nimm was aus Rattan oder Roteiche. 2-3 cm Dicke sollte gut gehen.
